I {heart} the sunshine

Yesterday we set off outdoors to go on a hike.

It was such a beautiful day,

full of warm sunshine and

a cool breeze to keep you

from sweating.

We had a great time being out

together as a family...

despite the fact that

mom didn't think it was hot enough

to carry along water and of course,

everyone wanted water when we

got to the end and still had "ALL.THAT.WAY"

to go to get back to the car. Shame on mom.

She promised the kids that from now on

she would ALWAYS bring water along.

Of course, so the sweet children stay

hydrated...

NOT to avoid all the whining and complaining.

Seriously though, it was fun day indeed.

So glad that there are times when they

are willing to show the love

they have for each other.

If we share similar imaginations, you will

see why we named this the

monster rock.

And somewhere in this picture, if you have

reeeeally good eyes you will see two

mountain goat.

OH and Rob was pretty stoked when he got

news late Saturday night that

he was chose to participate in the

Wasatch 100.
