After church today we headed north.
North to find some
cooler air,
changing leaves,
and time to spend together
as a family.
We got two of the three.
Sadly, there were no vibrant
colors decorating the mountains.
Guess I should have known,
since we went to a place called
Pine Valley.
It was still a lovely day.
There's something about the mountains
that I just love.
My dad always says,
"The mountains are God's country."
I totally agree.
Happy Sunday to you all.

Gorgeous pictures, what a perfect thing to do on a Sunday too! Never been to Pine Valley ... i'm suddenly very interested now. :)

Always love Pine Valley. Dad has a cabin there with a wicked sledding hill down the driveway.
