We spent Thanksgiving with my family and it was wonderful. The food turned out great and all was good. After dinner but before pie we went to the lagoon trail in Farmington to go for a walk and take some family pictures. It was a little chili, but fun. It felt good to get out after eating rather than just sitting around thinking about all you put in your mouth. My brother brought his father-in-law's guitar, so after pie we sat around and sang (which was pretty funny since none of us know how to sing except for my sister-in-law and Rob if he would actually do it) and shared what we were thankful for and then we listened to John Denver and Gordon Lightfoot the rest of the night. It was a great and blessed day.
That night Kennedy and Conner got their annual Thanksgiving night present(pajamas), hence the pictures. They were pretty excited.
Friday thru Sunday we were with Rob's parents and it was a good time too. The kids love spending time with them. My mother-in-law and I went shopping for quite a while on Saturday which was fun.
Rob and I were able to go on a date while up there, it was so much fun. We absolutely love going to downtown SLC. We went out to dinner, Rodizio Grill and then we went to watch August Rush. What a great movie!!!! We highly recommend it to all.
Anyway, that's our weekend in a nutshell. We are thankful for our families, for their love and support and overall kindness that they shower us with.
We love you all!
