Yesterday the kiddos were
playing outside.
Someone knocked on the door.
I just thought it was the kids
teasing me.
I got up to "tease back"
but instead of kids hiding and yelling "BOO!"
there was a nice gal with
a beautiful fall flower arrangement
in her hands.
I was totally surprised and immediately
curious as to who would send
something my way.

The note said,
I was just thinking about you.

She is one of my "gold"
friends.
Today I am grateful for
friends.
new and old,
silver and gold.
I've been blessed with
wonderful friends in my life.
and I cherish every.one.of.you.
