Sadly, our original plans for this weekend got cancelled, due to some sickness with extended family. We needed to come up with something (and fast!), so the kids wouldn't be bummed.
We decided to go camping in Zions and luckily, with the holiday weekend, we were still able to reserve a camp site. We had fun setting up our camp, going on some hikes, listening to John Denver around the campfire and eating s'mores and cinnamon biscuits to our hearts content. On our way home we took the looong way...through Kanab and stopped by the "Little Hollywood Movie Set Museum". It was fun to see different movie sets that were used in old western shows. The kids LOVED it. We also stopped at Pipe Springs National Monument which was another big hit.
Monday we headed out to Sand Hollow for some boating with Rob's sister, Kim, and her family. It was so much fun! The weather was perfect and Kennedy claimed her nickname "fish" back for the summer. That girl LOVES the water!
We had a fun weekend...hope you all did too!

Great pictures!!! Looks and sounds like you all had an awesome three day weekend .... 1/2 of the places you mentioned here i've never heard of before, time for us to get out and explore a little more. By the way, i'm still obsessed with st. george and am quietly figuring out a way for us to move there. Just, you know ... FYI. If i have it my way, we'll be neighbors in no time ... and i'll invite you over for tapioca pudding. =)
